In 2024, Foxconn Technology Group (Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd.) announced major expansion plans in Henan Province, China, covering strategic investments in Zhoukou, Lankao, and Jiyuan. These projects are listed as part of the first batch of key construction projects in Henan Province for 2024, underscoring the province’s focus on new-generation information technology and industrial transformation.

The expansion includes:

Foxconn Zhoukou Technology Industrial Park – featuring new production workshops, R&D buildings, and supporting facilities with a total construction area of 320,000 m², focusing on key components for smartphones, tablets, PCs, and wearable devices.

Foxconn Lankao Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. – upgrading production facilities with advanced equipment and technology, with a total construction area of 140,000 m², targeting 5G smartphone precision structural components.

FII (Foxconn Industrial Internet) Jiyuan Project – boosting production capacity with new standardized workshops, production annexes, and infrastructure covering 280,000 m².
